Meet Vince Mastracco
Originally born and raised in small towns in upstate New York, my family moved to Southern California at the very beginning of my teen years and later to the Sacramento region where I spent my final two years of high school. I went on to graduate from CSU Sacramento, where I served as the Advertising Manager of the campus newspaper, The Hornet. With that experience as my beginning, I embarked on a career in advertising, public relations and marketing. I even taught Public Relations at American River College. Through my involvement in media I metamorphosed into a radio show Host/Producer.
The Golf Talk Radio Show aired on Sactown Sports 1140 for nearly two decades from 1994-2012. During that time, the show received awards from the California Golf Writers Association, the Northern California PGA and other golf-media organizations.
In 2018 I was inducted, as a broadcaster, into the Sacramento Golf Hall of Fame.
From 2004 through 2012 I worked in a dual role; as an agent at Windermere Real Estate and Host/Producer of the radio show.
My interest in real estate started early in my career after attending a promotional workshop at a local hotel on how to buy houses. The real estate bug had bitten and eventually I transitioned to become a real estate agent.
One of the things that I am grateful for in my real estate career is having built a repeat clientele. I have done transactions for parents and later helped children of those parents buy and sell homes. As life changes have occurred, I've been called upon to assist with upsizing and downsizing. I take every return call as a compliment on my commitment to my clients. It is just an honor, I have no other words for it, to have people call back and to refer me to friends and family.
